The times are past when toilet cleaning tabs or fresheners had to be attached to the ceramic bowl in some complicated way. These days, the tab simply slips into a receptacle in the cistern and dispenses freshness and hygiene every time the toilet is flushed. A perfect solution, especially for rimless WC ceramics. Many of Viega’s concealed cisterns have such a tablet holder –, or one can also be retrofitted. The unit is designed to be combined with WC flush plates of the Visign for Style 10 series.
Conventionally, toilet cleaning tabs or fresheners have been attached under the bowl rim. This is less than ideal both from the visual as well as hygienic points of view, for bacteria can easily collect there. In contrast, Viega’s tablet holder hides discretely behind the flush plate.
The invisible helper
The tab is inserted into the shaft and lands in the tablet holder below the water level. Once there, it dispenses its active agents continuously and in the right quantity, so the WC ceramic is cleaned every time the toilet is flushed and the room is freshened.
Replacing the tab is childsplay thanks to a special magnetic installation frame. You simply pull the WC flush plate towards you and tilt it. Insert the tab, replace the flush plate and you’re – done. There are two brackets and two magnets that ensure that the flush plate returns to the correct position. The magnets have just the right strength to make sure that adults can open the flush plate easily, but it is too difficult for small children – an important safety plus.
Quick and easy installation
The tablet holder can easily be mounted by an installer for many Viega concealed cisterns, and it can be used in combination with WC flush plates of the Visign for Style 10 series. All common chlorine-free WC tabs can be used, and the system is particularly suitable for rimless WC ceramics.
