Viega has re-interpreted these emotionally accentuated soft lines for WC flush plates in its new product series Visign for More 105. It combines rounded corners, high-grade materials and a distinctive decor design element to create an integrated look. Visign for More 105 is available with manual flush actuation as well as in a touchless variant named Visign for More 105 sensitive.
With its new Visign for More 105 WC flush plate line, Viega has embodied the latest trends in modern bathroom design. In cooperation with artefakt design of Darmstadt, Germany, a contemporary interpretation of the WC flush plate has been created which features durable quality and supreme hygiene thanks to the use of high-grade materials such as glass and surface-finished aluminium. Viega has retained the tried and proven Bowden cable technology for both the manual and touchless flush actuation variants. In the Visign for More 105 sensitive it is combined with the familiar electronic touchless flush actuation, which can optionally be powered from the mains or (when modernising for example) by battery.
Visign for More 105
The manual Visign for More 105 just needs a light press of the button to initiate either a full flush or a water-saving partial flush, as required. To differentiate between the flush volumes, the designers created a distinctive stand-alone decor element in the form of a milled groove. It divides the press-flush area into a large and a small zone, providing a self-explanatory visualisation of the respective function.
Visign for More 105 is available in white/traffic white or parsol/black glass, and in chrome-plated or chrome matt aluminium variants incorporating the practical anti-fingerprint feature.
To obtain a distinct sense of depth, and to avoid the typically slightly greenish discolouration of the colour white, Viega uses a special six millimetre thick white glass. The exclusive look of the flush plate is enhanced by the satin finish of the groove and of the glass edges. The high standards of design and innovation of the Visign for More 105 create an integrated look which has already been awarded the "Design Plus powered by ISH 2017" quality label and the internationally renowned iF Label for design excellence.
Visign for More 105 sensitive
Characteristic features of the touchless Visign for More 105 sensitive are two horizontally milled grooves. They create a flat look, and their delicate satin finish underscores the design without dominating the new soft-geometric styling. They represent the perfect marriage of function and design, providing users with a clear indication of their touchless flush actuation and of their built-in dual-volume flush: Simply passing a hand in front of the plate causes the internal electronic control to start flushing with a full or partial flush volume as required.
Visign for More 105 sensitive is made of exclusive six millimetre thick glass. Here, too, the high-grade material choice ensures that the white colour can be implemented with no sign of greenish shading.
The wall construction of the two Visign for More 105 variants in glass is 8 millimetres; in the aluminium variant it is 4.5 millimetres.
Maintaining drinking water quality
The electronically actuated Visign for More 105 sensitive additionally offers the facility to activate the Hygiene+ flush function developed by Viega and so counteract drinking water stagnation. The intelligent technology from Viega flushes automatically after a preset interval dependant on the last flush, so avoiding long periods of stagnation even when the WC is not in use.
Visign for More 105 can be retrofitted to any Viega cistern model from 1999 or later.
